Supported by the mountain crags
\nin the wilds, the formidable forest,

Seeing the ethical conduct of the virtuous,

\nthose who see clearly

Having practiced the teaching here,

\nthey delight in the heavenly realm,

\nso too his companions, his family circle,

Those possessed of discernment,

\nhis generosity and good deeds,

Having lived here in accord with Dhamma,
\nthe path leading to a good destination,
